Neither do those who join this choir need to have previous musical training or choir experience.  The only requirement for membership in this choir is a love of singing.

The choir will sing ensemble music – unison, 2 and 3 and 4 part songs.  As well, members of the choir will be encouraged to sing solos or duets as their interest calls to them.  The music will be diverse covering a wide range of musical periods and styles.  While much of the music will be chosen by the choir director, choir members are encouraged to suggest music for solos, and smaller and larger ensemble performance.

The choir will perform at community venues i.e. the Festival of Trees, at retirement homes, and community fundraising initiatives.

Investment

The cost of membership will include the cost of music which will belong to each choir member and other expenses [rentals, payments] which will be shared.
